A practical Tajweed correction path
Use this sequence to notice one recitation issue, explain it briefly, model it, and let the student try again. Confirm detailed rules with the official Tajweed Muyassar book or a qualified recitation teacher.
Listen for the letter's point of articulation and distinguishing quality. Correct the sound gently without changing the verse text.
Review the four rule families: izhar, idgham, iqlab, and ikhfa. Ask the student to identify the trigger letter, then model the sound.
Notice the following letter and distinguish the relevant rule. Keep the correction tied to the exact word being recited.
Check the cause and reading context before asking for lengthening. Follow the teacher's verified Hafs instruction rather than guessing a count.
Choose a suitable stopping point and restart that preserves the intended meaning. Refer to the Mushaf signs and the teacher's recitation guidance.
Listen once → name one issue → model it → repeat together → ask for an independent retry → record the word or rule for review.
This is a teaching checklist, not a substitute for oral correction from a qualified teacher. The official source reader above contains the reference book.

Sacred Text Immutable Standard
Quranic text is immutable and sacred. It is never synthesized by generative AI models or passed through automated speech rewriting. In all languages and UI modes, the verses remain in authentic Arabic script. Translation of meanings and Tafsir are displayed with explicit attribution.
Teacher's Practical Lesson Guide
A serene, step-by-step coaching methodology. You do not need to memorize every detail at once.
A Successful Lesson Begins with Serenity & Reassurance
Smile, check your microphone, and ask the student how they are doing. The goal is not a rigid performance, but for the student to leave the session confident in what they have mastered and clear on what to review.
Before the lesson: a five-point setup
A short routine for new teachers and anyone who wants a calmer, more consistent session.
Welcome & Frame the Goal
Start with a warm greeting. Explicitly state the exact passage for today so the session has a clear beginning and end.
Listen Fully Before Correcting
Allow the student to recite the full passage once uninterrupted. Note mistakes quietly and address the one or two most critical ones instead of halting at every syllable.
Chunk into Short Passages
Recite with clear vocalization, then have the student repeat after you. Connect the ending of one verse to the start of the next.
Reinforce Difficult Words on Board
Write the challenging word on the whiteboard canvas and color-code the tajweed rule or letter shape. Give the student space to repeat it independently.
Conclude with a Clear Homework
Ask the student: What did we memorize today? What will you review? Confirm the next appointment time in their local time zone.
If You Feel Unsure During Class
Take a deep breath, return to today's assigned passage, and choose just one next step. Teaching becomes more natural with every session.
Progress & Follow-up Reports
